At the midway point of the 2013 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championship, Ashley Yearwood and her Denison University Swimming teammates remain in third-place with 198 points.
Emory University maintained its stranglehold on first place with 312.5 points, while Kenyon held in second-place with 254 points. Denison University currently owns a one half point advantage over fourth-place Williams College while Johns Hopkins sits in fifth place with 148.
Yearwood and Denison University continue with some strong swimming, posting a preliminary first place finish in the 4x200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:33.20 to advance to Finals.
In the 4x200 Yard Freestyle Relay Final, Yearwood, Morgan Nuess, Alyssa Swanson, and Maddie Armitage won the Bronze Medal with a time of 1:33.13. Emory was the winner of the relay in 1:32.93.
Yearwood swam the Freestyle Anchor Leg of the 4x400 Yard Medley Relay, with a fifth place finish in the Preliminary Heats with a time of 3:47.51.
Yearwood then swam the Freestyle Anchor Leg of the Denison University’s Women 400 Yard Medley Relay that finished 5th in the Final with a time of 3:46.58.
