Bermuda’s start to the ICC Americas Twenty20 Division 1 Tournament in Florida did not start brightly, however when the innings came to an end, Bermuda had posted a score of 192/4 at the Brian Piccolo Park.

Bahamas won the toss and sent Bermuda to bat, captain Stephen Outerbridge was out with the first ball, however Dion Stovell and David Hemp took Bermuda pass the 100 run mark, Stovell was the top scorer with 77 off 56 balls, while Hemp added 66 from 54 balls. Janeiro Tucker got in on the act with four straight sixes, scoring 30 runs off 8 deliveries.
In reply Bermuda bowled the Bahamas all out for 65, three players reached double figures as Narendra Ekanayake scored 14, while Ryan Tappin and Jonathan Barry both scored 13 runs each. Malachi Jones was the pick of the Bermuda bowlers with figures of 3-0-6-3, while Greg Maybury, Jacobi Robinson and Tucker all grabbed two wickets each.
