UTEP’s center Anete Steinberga scored 14 of her game-high 20 points in the second half as fifth-seeded UTEP moved past Erica Woods and her No. 12 seed Marshall, 70-59, on Day One of the 2013 Conference USA Women's Basketball Championship at the Tulsa Convention Center.
Woods went 4 for 10 from the Field for her 8 points on the night, while she grabbed 1 Rebound to go along with 3 Assist and 1 Steal in 25 minutes of action.
