The Virginia State University Women's 4x400m relay team of Alicia Terry, Jovonne Tyson-King, Bean, and Samantha Edwards finished 7th in their event with their fastest time of the year of 3:46.42.
All four received All-American honors, this was the second All American accolade for Tyson-King as she and Edwards ran on the women's 4x400m relay in 2011 and the first for sophomores Terry and Bean.
Head coach Jason-Lamont Jackson stated, “These talented sophomores have bolstered Virginia State University's Women's program in a great way and will continue to lead them in the future years.”
