Sophomore Nathan Joyal, came off the bench to score a game-high 19 points, including five three pointers, as TeJour Riley and his McGill University Men's Basketball teammates rallied from an early 10-point deficit to defeat Victoria 80-68 and finish fifth overall at the CIS Final Eight Championship in Scotiabank Place.
DeAveiro also made good use of his depth off the bench, which outscored the Victoria subs by a 30-19 margin. Five McGill players reached double figures, including point-guard Adrian Hynes-Guery, who tallied 16 points to go along with four rebounds, four steals and five assists. Simon Bibeau added 11 points, while Riley and Vincent Dufort had 10 apiece.
Riley went 5 for 7 from the Field, while grabbing 3 Rebounds. Riley also recorded 2 Steals in 25 minutes of action.
