The ninth-ranked Augusta State University Men’s Tennis team defeated Neal Towlson and his 32nd ranked Wingate University 7-2 in NCAA Division II Men’s Tennis action.
The Augusta State Men won all three doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead heading to singles play.
Towlson and Roberto Hennis went down in the number one Doubles spot 8 – 2 to Victor Cabellos and Victor Guimaraes.
Towlson went down in straight sets to Jan Labas in the number two Singles spot 7 - 6, 6 – 0.
