It was an exciting day at the National Sports Center during the Bermuda National Athletics Association’s second to last CARIFTA GAME 2013 Trial Meet.
Many would have thought it was going to be a struggle for athletes with the wind and rain, but for those in attendance would have seen a Boy’s 100m Dash Race take place, it was unfortunate that no print media was at the stadium to see two runners run under 10 seconds wind aided.
Tre Houston was clocked across the line in a winning time of 9.65, while Jeneko Place smashed the Under 20 Carifta A Standard Time of 10.70 when he finished second clocking 9.91, the wind speed was recorded at 2.1 in the same race Kidane Callendar also reached the A Standard Time when he finished in a time of 10.28.
