Michael Sims fell from his T9th starting position and ended the day T48th after shooting a Second Round Even par 72. Sims shot Five Birdies, Eleven Pars, One Bogey and One Quadruple Bogey.
Sims started out on the Front Nine with three Pars. That was followed by back to back Birdies on the par 3 fourth and par 4 fifth, Sims then recorded a Bogey on the par 4 sixth, this was followed by a Par and then a Quadruple Bogey on the par 4 eighth that saw Sims fall to 3-over par, Sims closed out his Front Nine with a Birdie to make the turn at 2-over par.
On the Back Nine, Sims started out with three consecutive Pars, before recording a Birdie on the par 4 thirteenth, Sims followed this with four consecutive pars and then he closed out with a Birdie to finish at Even Par.
