The Bermuda Cricket Board announced that both Oman and Italy will be arriving in Bermuda a week before the official start of the World Cricket League Division 3 Tournament on April 26th.
Currently the Bermuda Cricket Board expects Oman to arrive on Thursday April 18th and Italy to arrive on Friday April 19th in their quest to pursue a place on the world stage.
Lloyd Fray President of Bermuda Cricket Board said, "This is an incredibly important tournament that is instrumental in every countries future high performance program. From this competition nations will have a chance to:
• - qualify for the ICC Cricket World Cup; o - qualify for ODI status; o - be eligible to compete in the ICC Intercontinental Cup, a 4 day format competition; and o - qualify to the ICC High performance program. o "It is not surprising with so much at stake that countries are investing time and considerable efforts in their preparation to succeed in World Cricket League 3. The week before the tournament will be heavily loaded with warm-up games and practices of a very high standard.
