Sullivan Phillips and his second ranked BG Goettingen recorded a very predictable result when they defeated 15th ranked Gotha 65-56 in a home game.
BG Goettingen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter, meanwhile BG Goettingen forced 21 Gotha turnovers.
The winners were led by Phillips who scored 13 points after going 3 for 5 from the Field and 7 for 9 from the Free Throw Line. Phillips also grabbed 2 Rebounds to go along with 2 Assist in 19 minutes of action.
Others assisting Goettinggen in their win was guard Nicholas Livas who scored that evening 9 points and 8 rebounds and guard Akeem Vargas supported him with 12 points and 5 rebounds.
18 points and 7 rebounds by forward Torvoris Baker did not help to save the game for Gotha. His fellow guard Chase Griffin added 14 points and 4 assists.
Philips and BG Goettingen keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Vechta.
