Tyler Smith took to the Tennis Courts in the NWU Pukke/RVTA Junior International Tennis Federation 1 Tournament at the NWU-PUKKE Fanie du Toit Sports Grounds in Potchefstroom, in South Africa.
Smith took on Abo Habaga from Egypt going down in a three set battle.
Habaga won the first set 6-3, but Smith won the second set 6-4, Habaga advanced after winning the third and final set 6-4.
Smith then teamed up with Lesedi Sheya Jacobs from Namibia in the Ladies Doubles, the pair went down in straight sets 6-1, 7-6 against Lee and Zani Barnard from South Africa.
