A Bermuda Ball Hockey League triple header took place inside the BAA Gymnasium. In the opener the Minnesota North Stars defeated the Toronto Arenas 10 – 8. Kyle Hankins and Dave Gazzard both scored a hat-trick to lead the North Stars to victory, while Scott Shannon scored twice and Andre Labonte added the other. Jeff Ingelman and Charlie Silva both scored twice for the Toronto Arenas, while Shannon Gosse, Wayne Newhook, Chad Cundliffe and Glen Madore all added a goal apiece.
Twenty-one goals were scored in the second game as the Winnipeg Jets defeated the Colorado Rockies 11 – 10. Adam Chevis led the Winnipeg Jets to victory scoring 4 times, while Cam Poland added a hat-trick. Shaun Trowsdale scored twice, while Sean Brosseau and Ryan Wilson both added a goal each. Chris Merritt and Chris Coleman both scored hat-tricks for the Colorado Rockies, while Chris Grantier scored twice. Tom Miller and Talib Contractor added a goal each.
The Atlanta Flames won the third and final game of the evening 13 – 4 over the California Golden Seals. Troy Dort scored four times to lead the Atlanta Flames to victory, while Jf Talbot added a hat-trick. Cory Caouette and Brian Keats both scored twice, with the other two goals coming off the sticks of Mike Gazzard and Darren Maksymetz. Monte Palsat scored twice for the California Golden Seals, while Billy Calko and Shaun Behan both added a goal each.
