Muldoon went down playing in the number two position against James Kacergis in four games.
Muldoon won the first game 11 – 5, but Kacergis won the next three sets 11 – 7, 11 – 5, 11 – 6.
Shrubb also went down in four sets playing in the number nine spot against Cotter Walker. Walker won the first set 11 – 6, before Shrubb won the second set 11 – 5, Walker then won the third and fourth set 11 – 7 to win the game.
