The 2013 Best of the BEST Swimming Series is set to get underway this coming Saturday February 23rd at the Warwick Academy School Pool begin at 8:30am.
National Swimming Coach Ben Smith said, “The Best of the BEST series consists of a total of three swim meets spread over several weeks.”
“This week’s swim meet Swimmers will be looking to become the eventual Age Group Winners of this series, in addition to which, many of them will be attempting to get qualifying times (or additional qualifying times) that will allow them to participate in the CARIFTA games in Jamaica later in the year.”
Smith concluded, “Following this Saturday’s meet there will be a development meet at 12pm for our younger swimmers. Next week Saturday, March 2nd there will be another qualifying meet at Warwick Academy Pool, at 12noon.”
