Bermuda’s Brazilian Football School (BBFS) partnered with HSBC Bermuda to hold the island’s 3rd HSBC-BBFS College Festival.
Coaches and Scouts from United States, Canada and England were on the island for 5 days to train youth players on skills and techniques required when playing football at college and professional levels.
An excited Bermuda Brazilian Football School CEO Cal Blankendal said, “From this experience a player has been presented an opportunity to travel to England for a further look in a Professional Environment with a Championship League team”.
“We also have five player who will travel to Canada to KWFC to experience life as a Semi Professional player within the USL PDL Set Up,” continued Blankendal.
Blankendal concluded, “Five girls have also been selected to take part in a Residential Elite Girls Football Camp.”
