Taylor Ashley Bean and her Virginia State University Track & Field teammates travelled back to the Big Apple to compete at the 106th Running of the Prestigious Millrose Games (New balance Armory, NY).
The Women's 4x400m Relay team of Alicia Terry, Jovonne Tyson-King, Bean, and Samantha Edwards won their event in a time of 3:48.63.
"Anytime you take a trip to a meet of this magnitude and the student-athletes rise to the occasion, it's a great feeling as a Coach." Stated Head coach Jason-Lamont Jackson. "The goal whenever we race is to give an effort equal to or better than our best previous performance; which isn't always easy, and we were able to do just that."
