Bermuda Rugby Football Union League play continued at the Police Field, with the Teachers Ladies taking on the Police Ladies in the opener. Joanna Thivierge scored the only Try of the game for the Teachers Ladies in their 1 -0 win over the Police Ladies.
Next to take the field was the Teachers and Police in the Men’s Division. Teachers came out on top in a hard fought muddy battle 21 – 19 over the Police. Andre Landy led the charge for the Teachers with 2 Try’s while Richard Boyd score the other, Miles Staples kicked 3 Conversions. Durnford Davis, Darren Richardson and Giovanni Nesbeth all scored a Try for the Police, while Mike Kane kicked 2 Conversions.
In the Men’s second game of the day the Renegades defeated the Mariners 30 – 5, with the win the Renegades have secured the Men’s League.
Renegades got Try’s from Peter Dunkerley, Mike Williams, Ndavyah Williams and Ian Henderson, Henderson also added 2 Penalties and 2 Conversions.
