Mount Allison outscored Saint John 19-6 in the first quarter, Mount Allison then outscored Saint John 24 - 17 in the second quarter to take a 43 – 23 lead at the break.
Both teams scored 15 points in the third quarter, before Mount Allison outscored Saint John 22 – 10 in the final quarter.
