The Western Mustangs Women’s Swimming team earned their fifth-straight banner as the 2013 OUA Swimming Championships at Varsity Pool.
Western stood atop the team standings for three straight days, capping off the meet with an impressive 876.5 points to claim their sixth title in school history. Western finished 114.5 points ahead of Rebecca Sharpe and her Silver Medalist Toronto University Women’s Swimming teammates who had 762 points and Marauders finished in third with 682.5 points.
Sharpe competed in just one event on the final day the Women’s 50 SC Meter Backstroke Preliminaries were she finished 23 with a time of 31.91.
