Rachel Barnes and her Bowdoin College Women's Squash teammates celebrated its rise up the collegiate rankings with a convincing 7-2 win over Colby at the Lubin Center.
Bowdoin College moved to #17 from #20 in the latest College Squash Association poll, snapped a three-game losing skid with their triumph over Colby.
Barnes playing in the number two position defeated Molly Parsons in five sets.
Barnes won the first set 11 - 4, she then won the second set 11 - 7, Parsons won the third set 11 - 3, Parsons then won the fourth set 11 – 9, Barnes then closed out the match with a 11 – 9 fifth set victory.
