Renegades scored 22 unanswered second half points on their way to defeating the Police 29 - 13 in Bermuda Rugby Football Union Men’s Division action at the National Sports Center.
The Renegades got Try’s from John Quigley, Greg Garside, Alex Donkeyside and Tom Fitzgerald, while Ian Henderson kicked 3 Conversion and he added a Drop Kick Goal. Johnny Sykes scored a Try for the Police, while Michael Kane kicked a Conversion and added 2 Penalties.
In the Men’s second game of the day the Teachers defeated the Mariners 17 – 5. Greg Fraser scored 2 Try’s to lead the Teachers to victory, Henry Paddison added another Try, while Miles Staples added a Conversion. Tony Ward scored the lone Try for the Mariners.
The Teachers Ladies defeated the Mariners Ladies 3 - 2. Joanna Thivierge, Sophie Laganiere and Katy Wright all scored a Try each for the Teachers Ladies, while Mel Page and Deneka Borden scored a Try each for the Mariners Ladies.
