A delay in ordering the tile has forced the Bermuda amateur swimming association to move their next qualification meet for the CARIFTA Games to the Warwick Academy School Pool.
National coach Ben Smith is hoping the delay in the construction will not prevent the next major swim meet scheduled for the late February from happening at the pool.
Smith said, “We are hoping that the construction can now remain on schedule and we will be able to host the Best of best Series event at the BASA Pool.”
“The Warwick Academy Pool meets the standard for athletes to qualify for the CARIFTA Games,” concluded Smith.
