Muldoon, Shrubb and Bates Win Big

Kristian Muldoon, Jason Shrubb and their No. 14 nationally ranked Bates Men’s Squash teammates had little trouble in defeating NESCAC rival Amherst College at the Bates Squash Center, putting down the No. 23 seeds by a score of 9-0.

Amherst two points came during the No. 2 position game, where Bates junior Muldoon defeated David Kerr 3-1, and at No. 8, where Rodrigo Quan Miranda went down 3-1 to Bates senior David Born.

Muldoon defeated Kerr 11-6, 11-9, 9-11, 11-8, while Shrubb defeated Nicholas Sorrentino in straight sets 11-8, 11-6, 11-2.
