A double-header took place in Bermuda Basketball Elite Premier Division inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium.
In the first game of the evening, the Devonshire Dragons defeated the Hamilton Tsunamis 56 – 47. John Lee led the Devonshire Dragons to victory with 19 points, while Kevin Stevens scored a game high 29 points for the Hamilton Tsunamis.
Chris Crumpler scored a game high 34 points in game 2 to lead the Warwick Rim Rockers to a 68 – 66 win over the Smith’s Wildcats in an overtime thriller. The defeat was the first in 2 seasons for the Smith’s Wildcats. Derek Lindo hit a game winning shot in overtime as time expired, Steven Simons scored 21 points for the Smiths Wildcats.
