Rebecca Sharpe and her Toronto University Swimming teammates spent the December break in Barbados for a mid-season training camp.
With this news the Bermuda Department of Tourism should be on the door step of the Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association looking to see if they can contact one flight stop schools to Bermuda once the pool is finished.
"Holiday camps in the south are a tradition in the sport of swimming," said head coach Byron MacDonald. "Every few years we sojourn to the islands for our camp and Barbados is our favorite.”
Over 30 members of the team including Sharpe trained 4-5 hours per day in an international-caliber pool.
