Akil Smith and his Mount Allison University Men Basketball teammates went down in the Final game of the 4th Annual Dyrick McDermott Invitational Basketball Tournament 66 - 50.
The Mount Mystics defeated the Mount Allison Mounties in a great game of basketball.
Half time score was 38 - 28 for Mount Mystics, Great boards from Todd Williams and Ryan MacPhee as well as key baskets from Kenneth Reardon and Emad Khalek and a total team effort kept the Mystics ahead and won the game 66 – 50. Top scorers for Mount Allison was Ben Chisholm with 17 points and Smith with 10 points. Kenneth Reardon was top scorer with 21 points and Emad Khalek had 16 points.
