Akil Smith and his Mount Allison University Men Basketball teammates won their second game of the 4th Annual Dyrick McDermott Invitational Basketball Tournament by defeating Ste Foy 67 - 63.
Sharp shooting from top Mount Allison University’s scorers Ben Chisholm with 24 points and Brandon Mallaly with 13 helped defeat the Ste Foy Dynathem to the win. Top scorer with 22 points for Ste Foy and Player of the Game was Mamadou Medoune Gueye. Player of the Game for MTA was Kaleefah Henry.
In their second game of the day and their third of the tournament Smith and Mount Allison defeated host Mount Saint Vincent University 53 - 40. Top scorer and Player of the Game for Mount Allison University was Smith with 15 points. Mac Ellis was top scorer and Player of the Game for Mount Saint Vincent University with 12 points.
