Muldoon, Shrubb and Bates Win Big

Kristian Muldoon, Jason Shrubb and their Bates College Men’s Squash teammates swept NESCAC rival Tufts 9-0 with seven of the Bates nine points arriving via straight-set individual victories.

Junior Muldoon outlasted Aditya Advani in five sets, the most contested match of the evening. Advani won the first set 11-8, but Muldoon won the second set 11-4. Muldoon then went ahead winning the third set 11-2, but Advani drew level winning the fourth set 11-7, however Muldoon defeated Advani 11-9 in the fifth and final set to win 3 – 2.

Sophomore Shrubb playing at the No. 9 spot defeated Andrew Miller in straight sets 11-2, 11-2, 11-3.
