The Coral Reef Yacht Club Orange Bowl International Youth Regatta concluded at Coral Reef YC in Coconut Grove, Florida. The wind waited until the last day to arrive and glorious sailing conditions prevailed for the final two races. It made for quite a change after the less predictable lighter winds of the first 3 days.
In the Lasers radial Fleet, Owen Siese continued to show his promise in the class for older teenagers, whilst recording a few disappointing results during the week, he also managed some impressive top 7 finishes.
Siese moved up for a 49th position after day two to finish 2nd overall just 11 points out of first place.
