Benjamin Furqan went down in straight sets 6 – 3, 6 – 2 to Ao Kawanobe, of Japan.
Nathan Morgan went down in straight sets to Giovani Pasini, of Brazil 6-0, 6-0.
Yontz Sutton was defeated by Ignacio Mundos, of Argentina in straight sets 6-0, 6-0, while D'Undre Seymour went down in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 to Juan Manuel Lopez Ramirez, of Canada.
Kaylah Ming was defeated by Anastasia Khrustaleva, of Russia in straight sets 6-3, 6-4.
“All matches were good, both Furqan and Ming were leading at times but had trouble closing,” concluded Smith.
