Five Bermuda players won their matches on Day Three of the Canadian Junior Open Squash Championships.
The biggest match of the day saw Tiye Williams taking on Girls Singles Under 15 number one seed Amy Commisso in their Quarter-Final battle with Commisso winning in straight sets 11-2, 11-0, 11-3.
Nazhir Smith defeated Brock Janzer in a five setter 11-6, 11-9, 6-11, 11-13, 11-5, while Beckett Simmons defeated Nicholas Torres 11-6, 11-8, 11-5. Kyler Knights defeated Laird Simmons in a four set battle 11-7, 11-4, 7-11, 11-1, while D’Vario Thompson needed five sets to defeat Cristian Ureulla 10-12, 11-9, 8-11, 11-8, 11-6 and Olivia Lindsey defeated Caroline Alexander 11-0, 11-2, 11-4.
Anaya Smith went down in straight sets 11-5, 11-2, 11-3 to Jose Gallegos, Dylan Pratt went down to Neel Ismail in straight sets 11-4, 11-6, 12-10, Kion Knights went down in straight sets to Yusuf Shalaby 11-3, 11-9, 11-6.
Caroline Alexander went down in five sets to Sofia Gasca 11-7, 11-8, 8-11, 4-11, 13-11, while Madeleine Rose went down in straight sets to Georgia Chick 11-3, 11-9, 11-8 and Olivia Lindsey went down to Victoria Tonna 11-6, 11-2, 3-11, 11-4.
