The Bermuda Equestrian Federation’s organizing committee will be hoping more spectators and media will attend the 2nd Welcome Home Show at the Botanical Gardens on Saturday and Sunday December 8th and 9th.
The Welcome Home Show will showcase local adult and junior riders in team show Jumping and Hunter discipline, but also western riding classes and carriage driving classes.
Funds raised from this competition will assist the Bermuda Equestrian Federation in their fund raising efforts for the BEF Junior Fund, which will continue to provide training opportunities for promising young riders to train overseas.
The 2011 Welcome Home Show afforded sponsorship for our Olympic equestrian, Jillian Terceira, to attend the London Olympics and provided a subsidy to two local junior riders to train overseas this past summer.
