The senior League game of the day was between two of the top teams, the YMSC Lady Bluebirds and WWC Panthers. The game started off with YMSC Lady Bluebirds taking an early lead and kept that lead throughout the entire game. Both teams fought hard to get closer to the top spot but tonight was the night for the Bluebirds who won 58 - 49.
Danielle Raynor scored 43 goals for the YMSC Lady Bluebirds, Ebonie Burgess added 12 goals and Shanelle Lewis scored three times. Darrika Simons scored 21 goals for the WWC Panthers, while Wenda Roberts added 13 goals and Deborah Deshields scored 5 goals.
Robin Hood edged the Blazzin Bluebirds 49 – 41, Shannon Etchells scored 30 goals for Robin Hood, while Katie Brown added 19 goals, Fredricka Samuels scored 29 goals for the Blazzin Bluebrids, with Akelah Hendrickson adding 12 goals.
Christine Trott scored 32 goals and Kimale Evans added 28 goals for the Data Tech Netts in their 60 – 26 win over the SS Tigers, Jahtuere Trott scored 14 goals for the Tigers, while Rose Richardso and Jahkenya Trott both added 6 goals each.
Under 12 League
The Bermuda Netball Association’s Junior League continued at the Bernard Park, the game of the day in the Under 12 Division saw NVCC Lady Rams take on the defending League Champions Netts Whites.
The game started off with the Lady Rams leading the first two quarters with the main shooter Brianna Swainson sinking most of her shots. Her movement on the court was fabulous, as the Lady Rams came to win and played well. Netts Whites not to be out done fought hard to come from behind and go ahead by two points up until the last quarter. Teyah Lindo shot her heart out with Marley Simons defending every ball. The final score of the game was 15-15 as both teams played superbly.
In other action the Netts Black defeated the Netts Green, while the YMSC Baby Bluebirds defeated the Cougar Cubs.
Under 15 League
The YMSC Bluebird Young'uns defeated the Netts Green 49 – 2, Keizhari Knight led the Bluebird Young'uns with 21 goals, while Satashie Roberts added 14 goals, Demiqua Daniels added 9 goals and Imani Smith scored 5 goals, Inshane Smith scored 2 goals for the Netts Green.
The Nu-Art Superstars edged the NVCC Lady Rams 16 – 15, Demiqua Daniels scored 10 goals for the for Nu-Art Superstars, while Stashie Rogers added 6 goals, Keizhari Knight scored 14 goals for the Lady Rams and Imani Smith score once.
