The Toronto Arenas defeated California Golden Seals 11 – 6 in Bermuda Ball Hockey action inside the BAA Gymnasium.
Chad Cundliffe and Glen Madore led Toronto to victory with hat-tricks, while Bruce Sinclair scored twice, Jeff Ingelman, Rich Campbell and Charlie Silva scored a goal each. Adam Mattatall and Nathan Kowalski both scored twice for California, while Billy Calko and Monte Palsat added a goal each.
The Quebec Nordiques defeated the Atlanta Flames 17 – 4, Jon Talbot led Quebec to victory with 7 goals, while Chad Critchley added 5 goals, Kevin Albrecht scored a hat-trick and JM Tremblay scored twice. Cory Caouette, Troy Dort, Adam Smith and Ronnie Dzurus all scored a goal each for Atlanta.
