Michael Sims shot a Third Round 1-over par 73 at the PGA TOUR Qualifying Tournament and is T98th at the Final Qualifying Stage competition is scheduled to be conducted at stroke play over 108 holes (6 rounds), played on two courses the PGA West - TPC Stadium Course and the PGA West - Nicklaus Tournament Course.
Sims’ Round included 1 Birdie, 15 Pars and 1 Double Bogey. Sims started out on the front nine and he ran off six consecutive Pars, before a Double Bogey on the par 5 seventh, Sims then closed out his first nine with two consecutive Pars to make the turn at 2-over.
On the back nine Sims shot four consecutive Pars, before recording a Birdie on the par fourteenth, Sims would then close out his round with four Pars.
