Dage Minors participated in the annual Footlocker Northeast Regional Cross Country Championships which was held in Van Cortlandt Park, Bronx, New York.
Competitors competed in sub-50 degree temperature on a course consisting of rolling hills and narrow paths which snaked through the mountains made the race exciting and challenging for all involved.
The 169 participants in this 5K seeded Boys’ Race represented eleven states plus Washington DC.
Minors placed 47th with a time of 16:47.8, he was the first St. Johnsbury Academy runner, he was followed by his teammate Brandon Legendre, who completed the race in 16:57.8.
The race was won by Edward Cheserek of New Jersey, in a time of 15:21.8.
This was the final cross country race of an extremely successful high school career for Minors and his St. J Cross Country Team.
