The Ravens took the lead in the 29th minute when Ana Abend scored a Field Goal, in the 42nd minute the scores were level at 1 – 1 when Deb Sagurs scored for the Bluebirds from a Penalty Corner. Emma Simmons put the Ravens back in front in the 47th minute when she scored from a Penalty Corner and then three minutes later Alex Wheatley scored from a Penalty Corner to extend the Ravens lead to 3 – 1. Joanne Smith-Barrow scored a Field Goal for the Bluebirds in the 63rd minute to pull within one, however although the final seven minutes was frantic the Ravens were able to hang on for the win.
Wildcats 4 Budgies 1
The Wildcats went ahead 1 – 0 in this game when Susanna Almeida scored a Field Goal in the 9th minute, twenty minutes later Almeida scored her second Field Goal of the game to double the Wildcats lead, following a counter attack the Wildcats went up 3 – 0, in the 44th minute following a Budgies Penalty Corner the Wildcats raced the length of the field with Almeida completing her hat-trick with a Field Goal in the 44th minute. Youngster Ashley Steede extended the Wildcats lead to 4 – 0 when she scored a Field Goal in the 53rd minute, but the Budgies would pull a goal back when Raven Pearman scored a 59th minute Field Goal to make the final score Wildcats 4 Budgies 1.
