In Ball Hockey League action inside the BAA Gymnasium saw the California Golden Seals defeat the Atlanta Flames 10 – 9. Ted Herman scored four goals to lead California to victory, Adam Mattatall and Chris Lemieux added two goals apiece. California also got goals from Billy Calko and Daniel Bordage. Jf Talbot scored four goals for Atlanta, while Brian Sully scored twice, Darren Maksymetz, Evan Gernant and Adam Smith all had a goal each.
In the nightcap the Quebec Nordiques defeated the Toronto Arenas 11-6. Jm Tremblay led the Nordiques with 4 goals, while Chad Critchley added a hat-trick, Ian Gouthro scored twice, while Kevin Albrecht and Jon Talbot both added a goal each. Glen Madore scored twice for the Arenas, while Jeff Ingelman, Shannon Gosse, Chad Cundliffe and Blaine Bernard all found the net once.
