Ryan Gunn and his Penn State Berks Men's Cross Country teammates placed fourth out of 10 teams at the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship.
In addition to the strong finish, the Penn State Berks matched a school-record with three runners earning All-Conference honors. The Penn State Berks compiled 112 points to earn their third consecutive fourth place finish. SUNY Cobleskill who had 52 points narrowly edged out Morrisville State College who recorded 54 points for first place. SUNYIT placed third with 76 points, followed by Penn State Berks and Wells College with 156 points. Connor McLaughlin and Connor Henry, who were four seconds apart, finished 14th and 15th, respectively. McLaughlin earned All-NEAC Second Team honors with his time of 30:57, while Henry was on the third team with a time of 31:01. Matt Martino was also an All-Conference Third Team honoree, after placing 19th out of 91 participants with a time of 31:23. Craig Hyatt was the next Penn State Berks runner to cross the finish line, clocking in at 32:30. Gunn followed at 35th place with a time 33:11 and Scott Lohin clocked 34:50 finished 49th overall.
