Dage Minors competed in Vermont State Annual All Division Championship in Thetford, Vermont for his school St. Johnsbury Academy.
Minors finished third with a time of 17:02 only two hundredths of a second behind Malcolm Plunkett, making him the third fastest D1 Cross Country athlete in Vermont, after he and his teammate, Brandon Legendre were ranked 9th and 10th respectively, Legendre finished in fourth place.
St. Johnsbury Academy finished in third place and is now ranked 3rd in the state’s Division 1.
Minors ran a strong and steady race in high altitudes with sub 40 degree temperatures. With hundreds of spectators, on a difficult course which snaked through the woods and tested every competitor's endurance, the race was exciting from start to finish.
This event capped off a successful season for Minors in his Senior year at St. Johnsbury and his coach was quite pleased with his team's result.
