Evan Naude and Jennifer Alen are the 2012 Crime Stoppers 5K Champions after racing in high humidity and sticky conditions.
Naude was clocked across the line in 16:28, while Gideon Kigotho finished second clocking 17:31 and Mantz Theron finished third with a time of 17:41, Omari Hart was fourth across the line with a time of 19:13.
Alen finished 5th overall clocking 19:20, while Hilda Stoney finished 8th overall and was the second female finisher and Victoria Fiddick rounded out the top three female finishers with a time of 20:16 that saw her finish 10th overall. Jennifer Alen
Daniel Oatley ran to victory in the junior 1.5 mile race with a time of 9:06, Robert Edwards finished second clocking 9:33 and Charlie Keyes finished third with a time of 9:39.
Winnelle Simons won the Competitive Walkers 5K race clocking 33:55, while Ray Medeiros finished second in 34:11 and Davina Dickinson finished third with a time of 34:44.
