The Bermuda Police Service announced Stephen Allen as their Male Sports Person of the Year.
Allen’s participation in this Sport has served him well and has brought credit to the Bermuda Police Service, he strives to improve his results, which is reflected in his approach to performing his duties as a Police Officer.
Allen participated in the 2012 International Race Weekend and finished a respectable second place in the local Front Street Mile, and third in the International Half- Marathon, he also received a Bronze Medal in the Island Games held in the Isle of Wright. For the past three years he has been a referee for the Bermuda Football Association.
Allen championed the Ed Sherlock 5 Mile Race, Lindos to Lindos 10K, Ludwig Cann 5K, and the Sir Stanley Burgess 5K. He finished 4th overall in the 2012 24th May Bermuda Day Race and is MOST IMPORTANTLY FOR THE BERMUDA POLICE SERVICE ALLEN IS THE…… 2012 BERMUDA REGIMENT 5 MILE RACE CHAMPION.
