The Bermuda Bicycle Association’s 2012 IBC National Criterium Championships took place in Hamilton with Madison rider Dominique Mayho riding to victory in the Open Male Division. Early in the race several attacks were made and Mayho was somewhere near to either being or cover, Mayho spent the early part of the race encouraging his teammates to put in more effort as he found himself alone at the from with other teams crowding him. Mayho eventually crossed the line in a time of 49:03.986, another Madison Neil Lupsic finished second clocking 49:16.657 and Mark Hatherley from Winners Edge finished third in a time of 49:16.688 .
Winners Edge rider Nicole Mitchell won the Open Female race with a time of 40:30.358, clocking a time of 40:38.115 Laurie Orchard riding for Fast Forward Bicycle Works finished second and her teammate Earlena Ingham finished third with a time of 42:27.080.
Nico Barclay pulled away from the field with three laps to go to win the Junior Male race riding for Madison with a time of 31:31.983, his teammate Vashon Cann held on for second place with a time of 31:45.561 and Daniel Oatley finished third with a time of 31:46.076 riding for Fast Forward Bicycle Works.
The Junior Female race was won by Winners Edge rider Gabriella Arnold who clocked 28:42.307, while Kamryn Minors riding for Tokio finished second with a time of 30:08.664.
