The Budgies went in front in the 8th minute on a Penalty Corner goal off the stick of Iman Smith, Lakae Tavares doubled the lead seven minutes later with a Penalty Corner goal of her own. The Budgies then converted the third Penalty Corner goal of the game in the 35th minute when Amy Fox scored.
In the 53rd minute a Field Goal from Chrisanthi Bartley for the Budgies made it 4 – 0, two minutes later it was 5-0 when Francesca Cacace scored a Field Goal, the Bluebirds pulled a goal back in the 61st minute through a Maria Harris Filed Goal and then Keishae Robinson scored a Field Goal for the Budgies in the 69th minute as the Budgies defeated the Bluebirds 6-1.
