Flora Duffy finished in second place and collected a check for $4,000.00 competing in the Nickel City Elite Women Triathlon in Buffalo.
Duffy finished with an overall time of 2:04:21, she finished second behind Sarah Haskins from the USA who clocked 2:03:05.
Duffy and Haskins both excited the water with the same time ahead of the field clocking 20:10, however Haskins had a strong ride on the Bike Course clocking 1:04:33, while Duffy clocked 1:05:22, Haskins closed the door on Duffy when she ran the Run Course in a time of 36:54, while Duffy clocked 37:24.
Joanna Brown from Canada finished third clocking 2:07:29, while Kaitlin Shiver from the USA finished fourth with a time of 2:07:29 and Anna Battiata also from the USA rounded out the top five finishers with a time of 2:08:36.
