A relatively small field which was able to take time out from preparations for Hurricane Leslie took part in the Bermuda Triathlon Association’s Argo Re Summer Series at the Clearwater Beach, with Travis Cooper winning the 200m Swim/8K Bike/2K Run Individual Distance.
Patty Petty who was selected out of thousands to be one of the triathlon officials in the recent London Olympics and Andrew Davis stood in to ensure that this week's Super Sprint could go ahead.
Cooper was clocked across the line clocking 24.48, while Romar Douglas finished second in 26.22 and Duncan Scott finished third in 26.59. the team of Peter Kiernan, Lorraine Silva and Adam Kiernan was fourth across the line in 27.31 and Russ Dyrli finished fifth in 28.12.
