The Bermuda Triathlon Association held the Annual Labour Day Home Triathlon at Harrington Sound Dock. A field of 41 took part in at least one leg of the event. The participants found the conditions good as the Sound was calm, the wind and traffic were light, and the morning was hot but bearable.
Andrew Davis, led from start to finish breaking the tape in 1:02:57, while Nathalie Luthie claimed the Ladies title finishing 13th overall with a time of 1:12:34.
Davis came out of the water in a time of 11:46, before clocking 31:30 on the Bike Course, Davis finished the event off with a time of 19:41 on the Run Course. Dirk Hasselkus finished second with a time of 1:03:36, while Kevin Tucker finished third in a time of 1:04:00.
Luthie came out of the water in 12:35, she then rode the Bike Course in a time of 37:06, before clocking 25:12 on the Run Course. Rachael Rothwell was the second female finisher with a time of 1:16:24, she finished 18th overall, while Kim McIvor was the third female finisher clocking 1:17:55 which saw her finish 21st overall.
