IslandStats.com
The Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club will be hosting its next round of the 2012 National Championship Series this Sunday, August 26, 2012 at the Bermuda Motor Sports Park in Southside, St. David’s.

Dean Jones a three year veteran on the scene has always had a strong passion for the racing world. He first began by racing remote control cars. He then attended MMI in Orlando and studied to be a motor mechanic and is now currently employed at World Distributors. Jones has always enjoyed the power behind an engine and all its wonderful glory. After building his own bike he began racing in the scooter class alongside his cousin Ricardo Wade.
Jones is an avid rider viewing everyone on the track as his competition, getting his adrenaline rush from high speed cornering. His advice to other riders and potential riders is “if racing is something you feel strongly about do not let anyone discourage you from living out passion, if funds are holding you back start small, you do not need the top name brands, work with what you have and build yourself up from there”. Jones has not competed abroad but is looking forward to doing so next season.
