Flora Duffy made a return to Bermuda following her performance at the London 2012 Olympic Games in the Women’s Triathlon.
Flora Duffy finished in 45th place competing at the London 2012 Olympic Games in Women’s Triathlon action.
Duffy clocked a time of 2:08:54, in a field of 55 Women Triathletes.
Nicola Spirig from Switzerland’s won the Gold Medal in a time of 1.59.48, she edged Lisa Norden from Sweden who had the same recorded time, with Norden claiming the Silver Medal and Erin Densham from Australia clocked 1:59:50 finishing in third claimed the Bronze Medal.
Duffy clocked the 28th fastest Swimming time of 19:28, she then clocked the 51st fastest Bike course time of 1:11:07, before recording the 40th fastest Run time of 37:08.
Duffy was involved in a Crash resulting in a Mechanical during the Bike Course.
Duffy said “One crash and one mechanical and my Olympic dream ended in heartache, but thanks for all the support.”
