Bermuda’s Tyler Butterfield returned to Bermuda following his performance at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Butterfield was asked if he gets teased about coming from an island surrounded by water and he is not a better swimmer, “I get teased a lot about that, they say you should be able to swim better there is water all around you.”
“I gave it my all on the Bike and I think I paid for it on the Run, but I wanted to make sure that Bermuda was seen and I wanted to give the people a good showing,” continued Butterfield.
When asked about the negative comments about the Bermuda Athletes written by a foreign journalist working in Bermuda Butterfield said, “I think we did quite well, a lot of it is just doing your country proud.”
